Unexpected Results

Although not impossible, sometimes you can find surprising or odd results from a breeding. I ran across this: http://swampsuburbia.blogspot.com/2009/06/ozzies-funny-color.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; when I was looking for seal brown horses. It LOOKS like a seal brown mare and a chestnut stallion produced a bright mealy wild bay foal. I think it's pretty neat, and it also suggests that mealy is NOT dominant, but I'm sure everyone already assumed that. Has anyone else found any interesting foals?

I agree the mare looks brown (certainly not bay and probably not black). However the mare looks like she has mild pangare' to me. Her flank is much lighter than anythign else on her and has that soft tan color of pangare' as opposed to the orangey tones typical with brown.

I'm not sure why his legs look as they do in some shots as this horse certainly doesn't look wild bay:

Yup. I think most do. Really I find it more unusual to see a young horse with full points.
