Trying to write a paper...

Hello everyone! I'm a long time lurker, but new member. I was hoping some of you could help me with something. I have a few theories I'm trying to either disprove or prove for a paper I'm writing. So, bear with me! I'm trying to find horses that tested for: Tobi + Frame Sabino 1 + Tobi or Frame Minimal Frame by itself or with another pattern Gray(both heterozygous and homozygous) And pictures would be great since this is based on how the genotype relates to the phenotype! Thank you. :)

Here are two lab tested Frames who are very minimal:

And, one of his sons, Songcatchers Walking After Midnight

as a weanling:

and as a yearling (rather akward at this point, hoping he will grow out of it):

Here's one that is tested for frame (LWO) and SB1

This page is a gem. Its has several you might find interesting.
http://www.streborminis.com/Mares2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This page has some good ones also They have an all white mare that is tested positive for Tobiano, LWO, and SB1

Hope this helps. I'm sure you can find more I found these with google.

Thank you everyone for the examples!
Do you have an example of a totally solid frame yet? I know someone who might be able to help you with that if not.
I don't, actually. It would be extremely helpful, though. Part of this paper is about how minimal frame can be.

Does anyone know of a loud frame that isn't suspected splash, and didn't test for any other patterns? I'm fooling around with a theory that frame by itself is actually very minimal, but when combined with other patterns it puts more white on than usual. A loudly marked horse that only tested for frame would help prove me wrong.

Problem is, we don't really know what is frame and what is splash, seeing we can't test for spalsh (or any other numerous white marking genes out there)

I've often wondered too, if splash needed another white gene to 'boost' off?

my stallion is completely solid and has tested positive for frame , I also believe he carries splash as hes thrown splash foals from solid mares

As there is no test for Splash and the majority of Sabino, there is no way of teeling if an animal carries that as well as the tested pattern. Just because it doesn't look as if it is........

well for instance one of his colts has two blue eyes a star and a snip and the soles of his back feet are white he is out of solid bay roan mare , he tested negative for lwo , my sires dam is an obvious and very loud splash so Im guessing shes passed it down to him , several of his youngsters have the same markings -star,snip ,blue eyes and white soles do you consider that splash or frame?
