I'd say so yes, one coloured leg though hmmm, what is the breed? I would consider testing for OLW if it is a breeding animal.

It looks like a paso fino? Yes - it is a paso fino I don't know if they have frame. But it does look splashy.

I think the one solid leg thing is more a tobiano thing. I have seen several sabino/splash horses that only have three socks that shouldn't have been frame.

I ask because a friend and I were chatting last night and she has come across a lot of pasos's with blue eyes and a TON of white (big blazes, socks, even belly spots) out of SOLID or minimal white horses.

Most of the blazes and blue eyes looked very splashy, and I was thinking there might be something to the white restriction theory with splash. Lots of thin blazes that would slide off and go through the nose and you could see the "cutout" of color where there would otherwise have been a BIG white blaze. Lots of cutoff stockings that almost looked like Tobi stockings, but definitely no Tobi.

After reading about the idea there might be a white inhibitor of some sort hiding splash I was thinking with all the horses she showed me last night there might be something to it. It's the only thing that would make sense of all the horses she showed me.

Maybe next week (won't be back on much over the weekend) I can get picture of the horses in question from her for a little research project :)

Same leg white and relatively similar face white to Lace (except she has ermines and distals galore), and she's splash + frame.
