Solid PH producing a spotted foal

Hi gang ! It's a long time I didn't come over here ... and I had to create a new account. I have a question for you ... How can a solid red dun PH mare, bred to a black andalusian, produce a spotted foal ? I was soooooo sur that it was impossible .... Thank you all for your answers :)

Can't believe it !

You didn't make my day today guys !!!! LOL

So I have a red dun mare sabino + frame .... and an andalusian mare who's splash !!

What induce "splash" ?
May I have a real pinto purebred andalusian with splash ?
What can she produce ?

I'd guess it'd be hard to get a loud splash foal (unless you really didn't want one.) If you're lucky you can track down an Andalusian stallion that has super loud white then cross your fingers?

I obsolutely don't want a pinto andalusian ! ;)

So I'll look to find a stallion with no marking at all ;)
My 2009 foal, out of that mare, has no marking at all ...
He just has a grey spot on the left hip. I supposed it was rabicano ... but he's turning grey ... so it could be the effect of greyishing (is that a correct word ???).

So I'll cross my fingers she never throws splash ... or just lightly on the face and legs ;)

Thanks for your answers ... :)

Very pretty! and definitely minimal Splash. If you don't want a pinto just don't breed her to another with a snip like that or a big blaze, although chances of another one actually being splash and then making a loud one isn't really that big you can reduce it a bit. Like usually begets like: unless it splash, when breeding like to like can result in an unexpected white explosion. check stallion's progeny too to be sure one isn't hiding splash, it can be very minimal. And just no big blazes in general as even splash+sabino can get out of hand.

Maybe I used the word "spotted" and I didn't have to ?

English is not my motherlanguage ... I try to manage with it ...

I said spotted for "spot" .. a spot, for me, was a white "place" on the coat ... as the foal on the pics.
