As promised ^_^

I uploaded my videos from Jazzy's outing! Jazz and Nike introducing themselves. This was after they'd calmed down some and I remembered to go grab my camera. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyhGEguPNPw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Free Lunging Jazz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhIOL3hRz7c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Jazzy going in the direction she hates http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLH-slKfqVo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Trotting under saddle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUHPSwtOmww" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Isn't she just the cutest?!

Sorry I only had time to have a quick peek at them all - but she looks settled and I see her listening to you all the time.

Looks good (and lazy!! :rofl ). I'm so glad to see you have a helmet too!! :D Too bad she can't just stay the color she is now... it's very pretty.

She moves nicely...is that the western saddle you normally ride in? My one observation is that it's too small for you! You end up right up against the cantle, and you should be able to fit your hand between the back of your butt and the back of the saddle. It could make things uncomfortable for Jazz too, since when you post you end up pushing down on the cantle of the saddle, which will push the saddle down on her back with every post. It looks like a small size, maybe 15"? You probably need a 16" or a 16 1/2" if you like them roomy. :) Might be time to sell that one and get another! Maybe you can borrow a bigger one from a friend to try out and see what size is comfortable for you?

It's the one I use because it's light, I bought it for my little cousins to use, and it's actually comfy and super light and such, so I use it. I have nice western saddles, but the stirrups won't go short enough for my stubby legs. I will be using an english on her, but...I like having a horn to hold for right now!

And thanks for the comments yall!
I'm happy with her. I have plans this summer! My friend is a hunter jumper trainer, and she's going to lease Nike for the summer to use as a lesson horse, so I'm going to send Jazzy down there to get some real training! This is the friend that thinks Jazzy'd be a good hunter, and she certainly is lazy enough! So, that's the plan! Hooray professional help!
