Poor Rosie

Well I got a phone call last week from my neighbour to say Rosie was acting strangely and they thought she had passed somthing. So I went down and they had kept what she had passed and sadly it was the fetus only about the size of a small mouse. It was all very healthy looking and pink and all in tact. Poor Rosie was upset and very sorry for herself so I gave her some pain relief and the vet came out the next morning to wash her out (just in case) and she had 5 days of antibiobics again just to cover all bases. She is back to her normal self now and suffering no ill effects thank god. She was in great form and my neighbour said there wasnt a peak out herself or sunny up till that evening. They said that Sunny started scenting for a couple of hrs and seemed very distracted and then Rosie started showing to him so he covered her and a couple of hrs later she passed the fetus. I think she was already loosing the pregnancy and allowed Sunny to cover her so as to help progress it. He never covered her again after she passed it. I felt so sorry for Rosie as she was upset and had the sadest whinny when I went down to her but at least she is healthy so thats all I could ask for.
