I think it probably will, DC started off totally Bay with just a few (literally) white hairs on his bum.
When I clipped him last year I was quite surprised to find he actually was a quite extended blanket........

NO!!!!

Someone in Ireland get round there right now and take the ruddy clippers away form Kim before she clips his backside!!! :rofl

another very nice foal for you slaney , youre getting some good colours and patterns too (always helps to sell them ) wil you keep any this year ?

slaneyrose Thu, 05/13/2010 - 05:36

Thanks Sue...I am very happy with the foals so far this year, their conformation is bang on and the colours are definitely a bonus! :HB We are keeping Lexi and I would like to keep Rocco for at least a year if possible to see how he matures...but if we are made a good offer for him we may have to think again. :)
The last foal is DEFFO for sale as managing all our boys this year is a real juggling act. :flower How about you...do you plan to keep any this year?

supaspot60 Thu, 05/13/2010 - 16:28

I 'll probably keep one to show in next years yearling classes and then sell her/him on later , its nice to have that option now I finally have all that extra land Ive always wanted , I can keep as many as I like now :D

Sorry so late in posting a congratulations on such a beautiful colt...he is very nice. I gather you are planing on evaluating him as a prospective show/breeding prospect (bet he'd be great at both). :love

Unfortunately I've been extremely busy (eldest son's back in the hosptial with another heart attack)... :sad

Egads, Critter, he's too young for that! Prayers heading your way, I know how life with cardiac patients goes (first my father, now my husband...I guess it is true we use our fathers as role models). Remember to keep up your own health!
