Pensimon (sp) coat color in Gypsy Horses

I have not been able to find any information at all about Pensimon (sp)? coat coloring in Gypsys, or anything about the coat at all actually.... We just purchased a young registered Gypsy stallion (King of the South) from the importers/largest gypsy farm-WestHillRanches. we were told that he is a pensimons and that there are only 4 registered with the breed. he looks blue roan ish *has his thick winter coat* and almost appy like marking on his hind end. just wondering if anyone had heard of the term here in the US?

ok, this just in from the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society:

"He is not appaloosa coloring, it is sabino pattern. I would register your horse as a blue blagdon. blue because of the sabino mix of white and black hairs, and blagdon because of the white splash up the legs."

I dont know if i noted it earlier but he does have a dorsal stripe down his back that spits the 'blanket-like' marking in half when you look at it from above....

lol yeah figuring this all out has been crazy. Either way KOS is a super sweet little guy and will be covering his first mares in the spring. With his bloodlines we're sure he is going to be a great part of our breeding program and should give us some really nice babies....
