Pearl, mutation of cream?

Oh...Pearl...on it's on locus, or on the same locus as cream? So basically....Cp or Prl?

I really like that method to describe cream mutations with the superscript.

Would these be accurate for KIT mutations?

KIT[sup]Rn[/sup]
KIT[sup]SB1[/sup]
KIT[sup]To[/sup]
KIT[sup]W[/sup]

YAY superscript worked. HTML class paid off!

[quote]One copy of cream is called a simple dominant (I think) so what is one pearl called? Two pearls, and I will raise you one...... Very Happy[/quote]

Cream is an incomplete dominant: two copies dilute more than one. Prl is a recessive.

If not completely correct, it would be close.

I prefer KIT to be denoted that way as well Threnody. It actually quite irritates me that the labs use a less accurate (in my own opinion!) way of noting traits.
