Palomino? Dun?

This horse is at one of my friends barn. The owner describes it as a palomino, but it has a clear dorsal and some leg barring. But it's points are weird. They're not as dark as I'd like them to be to call it a dun, but the leg barring has me confused. To me, it has a strange color tone or something to it, but it could just be the pictures.

Dun on red bases doesn't often give obviously darker points, and the pictures look like the stripes are very defined. I vote Dunalino based on the images shown.

The only dunalino I've ever seen was really light almost like a cremello or perlino. It was at my college. We never got her tested we just always assumed that because the sire was palomino and the dam was dun, so I figured that was the only possible color combo that could yield something that light. Does that mean the pseudo-double-dilute wasn't a dunalino or can the shades vary that much? I actually have a foal picture of her somewhere I think...

I would also like to see a photo in better light to make any guesses, but looks dun to me.

Rubber ducky I think dunalino can range from fairly light palomino to darker more golden tones, just like a regular palomino.

I actually got a chance to see her in person this weekend, and she's definitely a dunalino. Very pretty in person, also.
