Pali color progression photos?

Re: Pali color progression photos?
Actually that may prove my point on her being at least THAT dark a gold...several are saying that she is too dark to be a pali or if she is, that means she will be lighter when she sheds out. My research indicates the darker the foal at birth the darker the gold in adult hood. And, as there doesn't appear to be any sooty in either Maya or Luna so I wouldn't expect any in the foal (but who knows with sooty) so she should be a clean, clear dark golden pali (right?). :sign

Well, here's Diana then. You'll have to wait a bit for the current pics because I haven't snapped any since she started shedding but I can get you some in the next day or so.

okay now I'm confused because I can't find the photos I took of her last summer. I'll have to look for those and get back to you. I actually don't take very many photos of this horse.

I found one here:

Mine was kind of creamy when I got her, you could just barely see her spots. She's kind of medium gold now and quite flashy.
Re: Pali color progression photos?
How very, very irritating. Simply explain to them the genetics of a cremello. Unless you have another stallion running around... Besides, she's CLEARLY visibly palomino. I'd ask them to show me one single sorrel foal that was born looking like that. I guarantee they can't. :rofl :rofl :rofl

That last one is going to be dark.
Re: Pali color progression photos?
I do, but they won't help your case because my palomino foal was much paler than yours at birth. She is now, however, shedding to a very gold (and maybe dappled?) two year old coat.
