This filly - "Time of Joy - Joy" was born Friday the 26th. She is by Father Time (I am pretty sure everyone knows him now) and out of our bay Arabian mare - EAI Sareena. Sareena had a tiny bit of trouble with this girl. Joy is not what we would call a tiny foal, mama had a bit of a workout to get her out. But by morning both mama and Joy had rested and where ready to get out into the sunshine. I know my chances are good that Joy will be grey, but I can't help but hope she will be black and stay that way. Here are the photos of her at 2.5 days old. What a stunning filly :toast ...if you ever decide NOT to keep her, I am sure they will be lining up around the state to get a shot at this little lady... :love

Critterkeeper - I am sure they will be, well not State but Province :)

How can you guys not know him... I know I have posted photos of him before... Or have I lost my mind? - I checked and it was on the last site that had photos of him. Morgan - Yes I think she will be a big girl. Her sire is 17.1hh and her dam is 15hh I am expecting her to be at least 16hh but more to the 16.2hh when done. She is almost as tall as the TB filly that will be 16hh and that filly was born a month before Joy!

You know you've been looking at too many ambiguously-colored 'exception-to-the-rule' foals when... ;)

I also vote not gray, but I've also seen 'exception-to-the-rule' foals that were lighter than that and grayed out anyways. The dark fetlocks is the only thing that makes me think gray though; other than that, I agree that she looks not gray.
