miniature stallion critque please

I cant find a pic with him standing exactly as you want but I hope you can work from this , he is a 3yr old stallion , I know he needs more muscle at the back but I would apreciate your views and any suggestions on how to improve him Thankyou

He looks a like he has a short back and his topline is nice and even, I dont know if its the pic or not but is he camped out behind??

edited to add: He also has a good long underline and dont think the picture shows his head as pretty as it is in real life unless he has changed a lot since I saw him last year. :love

yes slaney he is a little camped out (anyway to disguise that ? build his butt up ? :booty ) nothing drastic though and he still has a pretty head :flower  lol

He does have a very pretty head. And a soft eye even if it looks be a bit devious! I think his shoulder is superior. It's both open and laid back. I'm trying to figure his neck out - it may come out low perhaps making it thick looking or just that he's a stallion. His topline is incredibly smooth, hardly can tell (if at all where his LSJ is), but if I have it right above the point of the hip? I think the single thing I'd try to improve on him is to shorten his loin length..which may appear different if his backend were square! I don't think I've ever seen a long loin on a horse with such a well placed LSJ. So...he's stretching his loin out toward the camera - I bet the other side looks short.

His front legs? Nice proportion - cannons nice and short, and his withers are well behind his elbow.

AND I'm basing this on riding horses....

As far as I know, legs that are camped out are a conformation fault that goes hand in hand with a weak rear end. If you run a line from the back of the fetlock, point of hock it should just touch the point of the bum where the tail meets it...in a camped out horse the line doesnt touch the body at all and the horses legs cant get where they should be underneath the horse while moving. I dont think you can disquise it.

I took this series of pics to send to amha to show his markings , the pics have to have all four feet in view so I hand placed his legs for the pics which means he looks abit strange ,but the next pics show his neck better the other pic shows the line thru butt, hock and fetlock

I don't see camped out, I see sickle hocks. Teach him to stand with his legs directly under him (which will be set back a bit in the stifle for him) if you can.
