Meet 'Amy' the new rescue

This is 'Amy' she was sadly due to be PTS as her owners are relocating and are unable to take her. The local vet nurse asked me to help Amy out of her dire predicament so I picked her up this morning, spending about 15 mins getting her to load. Apparently some people had been in yesterday to rehome her but after an hour and a half were no closer to getting Amy loaded up and things were getting tense. According to her owners they were even using whips on the poor girl and clearly this worked well, not! Needless to say she is now safe and sound at my place. I have the vet coming out tomorrow for a full health check as she is very tucked up, not eating and barely drinking. She is also very stiff and sore through her joints with a fair amount of swelling. She really is a lovely ole soul, such a lady to handle. I am curious about her markings though. She has an odd shaped stripe down her face, 2 tiny little belly splashes, (1 on each side) and 4 solid feet. No white on any of them. Is it frame that would cause these markings? She is of unknown breeding so not a clue about her sire or dam. Thanks, Kiri

The face looks Sabino, to me, and that would need something to suppress the foot white, which could well be Frame.
How old is she?
So glad you managed to get her.

I'm told she is 15 y/o and by looking at her teeth I reckon she'd be not to far off. They look in a pretty bad way so she is having them floated when the vet gets here plus a full service :)
