Long time no see!

Hiya!! Thought I'd just check in because I haven't posted in ages and ages. I've been really busy as I'm working everyday, plus doing lots of volunteer work to hopefully give me experience to get onto a speech and language therapy training course. My girls are doing well. In September I advertised Blossom (my 24y.o.) for share, and have found a lovely older lady who wanted a quiet pony to plod about on. She's brought Bloss back into work beautifully and she is now full of the joys of spring - she keeps trying to race Bella when we're cantering! [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/march%2009/090228001…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/feb09/0902020046.jpg…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/feb09/0902020042.jpg…] She's still well behaved for a pony ride though: [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/march%2009/090301002…] Bella is also well, I have finally managed to slim her down somewhat - I still can't feel her ribs but her last weigh tape was at 402kgs - she was over 440kgs at one point. We've been doing longreining after work, and now its getting light enough to ride properly after work :) She is going quite nicely now, though at the moment has lots of energy because the grass is growing. A few recent ones of Bella: [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/march%2009/090228001…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/march%2009/090228001…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/march%2009/090228001…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/feb09/0902070002.jpg…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/feb09/0902020032.jpg…] We also had a new addition to our family :) Meet Otis: (when we looked at him at the RSPCA) [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/dec08/0812070032.jpg…] He is a 3y.o. giant Schanuzer (same as our other dog Jess), we got him from the RSPCA, his people weren't coping with him. He is mad as a box of frogs, and slightly lacking in brains, but very very sweet! I'm sure he'll grow up soon, Jess was the same at that age. He's pretty well behaved apart from stealing food and barking when people arrive. [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/feb09/0902020080.jpg…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/feb09/0902060130.jpg…] [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v613/holleyjukes/march%2009/090307001…] Hope everyone is ok and has made it here? Shame about the old site but hopefully the change will be a good thing. This site is fab! What has been happening in everyone's lives? I need an update :) Holley xx
