Leather craft

I thought I should share what I've been working on since the first of the year.

Kool :flower On that note, I'll take a small/med headstall as both Destiny and Luna need a smaller one than I have :-? (my pony bridle is too small and "cob" types are too big) :BH

very cool!

my college offered 2 leathercraft classes for their equestrian students....it was a blast! The first class we made belts, bridles, halters, and did tooling...the 2nd was saddle repair, more tooling, making saddlebags and chaps.
Someday when I have enough money and time(I've been saying this for a few years now..haha), I want to make another pair of chaps that are fleece lined for winter riding (someone in my class did that and she said they were the BEST and held up really well)

Very nice - well done. I have a couple of cousins that did a lot with leather and they always made some lovely stuff.

AWESOME!!! Great job!!

Hey can you do names on a piece of leather for like a halter??

Daylene Alford Thu, 03/26/2009 - 08:51

I can't do names atm simply because I haven't bought any alphabet stamps. I've been thinking of buying some but there are so many different styles and sizes. :bounce
