I just went down to the barn to get out a horse to lunge and heard Isabelle breathing so I figured that was worth a look. She was breathing heavily and loudly, holding her tail away from her body, and pressing her nose against the wall. Then she went out into her paddock and rolled in the dirt and had quite a difficult time getting up. Her hind end looks kind of like those AQHA halter horses with the droopy butts. So either this is early labor or just one miserable mare... I'll keep you posted!

I finally got updates on! whew! Ok, going to do stalls. If she tweets, I'll run in and post anything important.

Boy do I need a life today or what? LOL Talk about trying to live vicariously!

I did have my hands full! I had Isabelle's lead in one hand and was trying to balance letting him nurse with not getting him killed... glad it's finally settled down and I can sleep as soon as I catch up on posts here. ;)

I don't think she tweeted right away last night, or at least, i didn't hear it, lol! I had a busy weekend though, so listening for belle's baby wasn't top priority at that moment...

When I got up this morning and ran to my computer first thing since I fell asleep so early (what I get for studying :evil: ), I think I scared my roommates when I shrieked that I had missed everything. I think Isabelle was just waiting for me to fall asleep...sneaky, sneaky mare.

yup, that was my guess. I win, lol!
And I checked my texts, and I got one at 9:42 am(my time) that said "Well everything quieted down around 3 AM so we both got some sleep. No foal yet. :'("
then my next text was at 8:32 am (my time) that said "Belle not the best mom. Foal won't sleep. Will tweet updates."
so I was like 0.O!?!? Baby already!?! and went downstairs to the hotel computers and looked for pictures, lol.
