I'm sure we've discussed this already...

but i'm still confused by this: http://www.coveyridgearabians.com/19301.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Maverikh CRA. I know KD Just Charge It has been discussed, but I don't remember talking about Maverikh. I know that the khartoonklassic site didn't talk about him being silver, but covey ridge seems to think so.

I think it's highly suspect, but I know most everyone will disagree with me. I'd really like to see that colt tested for both extension and silver. I'm not 100% convinced KK is really EE.

I am suspecious of anyone that calls their horse a color they can easly back up with testing but dont. I dont know of an Arab that tested silver yet (with test results public to prove silver)

Hey ACC - I looked up KK's progeny and this one is listed as only an "s" Now, imho, he looks like a possble silver bay to me. Am I to assume the "s" stands for silver?

and the same thing with this filly

Silver should be Z. :? How about S for sabino?

accphotography Tue, 08/04/2009 - 15:26

Hmmm. I was thinking you must be right, until Vneer mentioned sabino. Yeah I'll bet they mean sabino. However they both could make a case for silver to some people, but I just see Gulastra in those cases.

This SILLY purebred Arabs should NOT be 16.2hh...could we just ban American Arab breeding for ten years, please, and get this breed back on track?
A 16.2hh Arab is already around only these days we tend to cal them TBs :rofl

I don't see silver. My first thought was wild bay until I saw Khause A Scene for sure but I'd like to see a closer shot of him.
I would have expected a little darker roots in the tails if they were indeed silver.

Rabbit...

My friend has a freak. 17hh. Swear it. Both his parents are imported.

But he is a freak lol. He doesn't look "right". I think it's just something weird going on with him TBH.

Krickette Thu, 08/06/2009 - 08:22

wow, that's....scary.
I was wondering if maybe photoshop fail added to it, but no, he's just frightening. I wish I could watch the video of him, I'd like to see how he moves (sort of a weird curiosity), but youtube doesnt work at work.

eta: wow, somehow I managed to watch the video. the canter reminds me of something out of a tim burton movie, tbh.

Krickette Thu, 08/06/2009 - 15:40
ok so...we have a freak horse who looks nothing LIKE a Qh, or really, ANY horse lol, unshown due to severe stifle injury (ya think? ). Let's breed it!
agreed

lipigirl Thu, 08/06/2009 - 16:50
Agreed on the above - though the movement of this horse in canter reminded me to something I had seen some time ago - except the neck:
