Someone posted a link to this on my son's facebook, knowing that he has horses. http://horsehater.blogspot.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; All the posts are from 2005 so it's really old, but what's the deal with this? It's about beating and killing horses, which is illegal last time I checked, and isn't that against the blog provider's terms of service? I think it's a failed attempt at humor, but still...

I hadn't seen that particular one, but I've seen others like it. I think usually it's just someone who decides to pick a topic that irritates them to an extent and go nuts for publicity. I hope I'm wrong (I've been proven right with sites like these before).

it's kind of like bonzai kitten, it's just there to ruffle feathers. don't dignify him with any reaction and you're fine. he hasn't posted anything in a coon's age.

The stupid kid who posted it on my son's wall tried to pass it off as his own blog but considering he would have been about thirteen the last time there was a post I doubt it's his!

I looked at the terms of service and the only thing they don't allow is blogs about hate or violence against protected groups (race, religion, sexuality) so it seems this one falls under free speech. I get free speech but I hate to think of anyone going out and trying some of the things described.

Umm, 'blacks' are mentioned and 'fag' (please excuse) is used in a seriously derogatory fashion.

And if the guy hates horses why not avoid them, its obsessive, disgusting and sick.

I agree, but considering how old it is I'm sure people have flagged it before so it must not be bad enough to be removed. I think it's worse than the bonsai kitten site, personally, since the kitten site was pretty obviously a joke. People could easily take the horse site seriously and go out and try some of the things mentioned.
