Is there anything that can be done for a dog if he broke his toe? I think Brooks might have gotten stepped on. He's been limping pretty bad and we thought it would go away but it hasn't, so we are making a vet appointment now but I was just wondering....

I would just get him to the vet to see what is wrong. There are a lot of structures in the foot that can be damaged and treatment depends on what is involved. Have you checked his foot for wounds and what does the foot look like?

Well, we took him and it's a compound fracture of his toe. They gave us pain pills and said if he is still hurting in 90 days we can amputate.
I was just curious if they had like doggy splints or something, lol.
