Grey and/or Buckskin?

Hi, I am going to see 2 fillies on Monday. Filly 1 is 3 years old, a very pale buckskin. Dam is grey (could be heterozygous grey), sire is buckskin. Breeder has been breeding for 19 years and can't tell if she is going grey. She has no obvious signs such as goggles. What signs could I look out for? Filly 2 is less than 3 months old, dam is bay, sire is buckskin, according to my husband who saw them yesterday she could be buckskin (but he is not really 'up' on colour), breeder is unsure on her too. She has had foal coat change. What signs could I look for to see if she could be buckskin? As I am after a buckskin filly I will probably get them tested and will put pics up on Monday. Thanks for any help. This is a pic of filly 2 before foal coat change. and this is filly 2 with her dam. A fairly good indicator of whether or not the foal will go gray is their foal color at birth.

Foal 2 is bay IMO.

Will ask to see foal pics of filly 1 (don't know if they have any), is there anything I can look for now at age 3, eyelash colour maybe?

Filly 2 looks bay. If there is no sign of grey yet on the 3yo, fingers crossed she doesn't go grey! Probably a good idea to test for grey to be sure though.

I agree with the other posters, filly 2 is a bay, possibly with a modifier like pangare (muzzle), but until her yearling shed, it is hard to tell if that is actually what it is or just foally countershading that will darken along with her legs.
