Gelding Looking For Good Home-Free

note: This is NOT my horse. I'm posting for a friend as she would love to find him a home where he would be used. He just hangs out with her retired geldings and mini. She was given him a year and some odd months ago and he was a neglect case at that point. You can contact her at Franky099@aol.com if you want more information than what I have. She is located about 30 minutes outside of Chillicothe, Ohio. He is a 5 year old Thoroughbred gelding, chestnut, stripe, no leg white. She does not have papers and I do not believe he is tattooed. He has had some hoof issues due to neglect of basic hoof care in his past but her farrier feels they should be normal or very close to it after a few more trimmings. He was blowing abcesses for a while, but I don't think he's had any for awhile. He knows basic ground manners. Great personality and loves people. She estimates him to be around 16hh. She said he is taller than her QH gelding and I know the QH is 15.2-15.3 as I helped her stick him a few years back. He gets along great with her geldings, but not so much with her mini(she says that is mainly the mini's fault too). He does have trailering issues, but she knows it can be done....they put him in a trailer to bring him to her house and he loaded fine...they tried loading him up a few months later and no dice. I dropped off some fungal stuff and blankets when she got him last year. He was emaciated and covered in rain rot. She got him Easter weekend.
