The School Herd
A couple months ago, I offered to help my former boss at the riding school where I taught at with her business Facebook page. One of the things we wanted to do was highlight the school herd. Each horse and pony was specifically selected and trained to be the best schoolmasters out there for beginning riders. The barn is tailored towards beginning to intermediate level young riders (starting at 4 years old) so the herd is mostly ponies and a few small horses. I finally got the last horse's album up today. It was an interesting process, but I didn't realize how much work was involved in digging through all the photos dating back to when the school opened. Since I use many of these ponies for examples on the forum and they are stuffed into the gallery all over the place, I thought I'd link to them in case anyone was interested. Some are pretty interesting colorwise and others conformationwise  Harley and Buckwheat Bay grade and Grey dun Miniature Mediterranean Donkey Punkin Flaxen Chestnut ArabianXShetland pony Cookie Black Tobiano Shetland pony Chubbs Chestnut Quarter pony Bree Bay Dun Fjord Bandit Grullo Tobiano FjordX Jesse Bay Dun FjordXdraft Kenny Black Shetland pony Joe Brown Tobiano ArabX Flash Chestnut Quarter horse DJ Bay Dun Fjord Dreamy Flaxen Chestnut WelshXHaflinger Chunky Flaxen Chestnut pony Champ Silver Black pony Kiddo Bay Dun Kiger Mustang Star Chestnut Appaloosa pony Tristan Chestnut Arabian Beetle Brown Quarter horse Jack Brown Tobiano Splash pony Russell Bay Tobiano Splash pony Lucky Brown Tobiano Splash pony Beau Brown Quarter pony John Wayne Chestnut Quarter pony Texas Palomino Welsh pony

Thanks guys! It must be an undertaking to read through them all in one sitting! You probably noticed that the captions for the pictures dwindled towards the end; there is only some many times you can repeat the same type thing before your brain shuts down  Bandit is definitely a barn favorite and everyone loves to ride him. Jesse is more of a challenging ride so a lot of the older kids set a goal of getting to move up on to him.
