One thing I notice in those photos that I overlooked before... you might want to pick up a polarizing filter. I think it would cut down on how "blown out" your whites are. The exposure is actually really nice (the dark horses didn't lose detail) but it's tough when there is such contrast in a shot. Polarizing filters can help balance that out.

[color=#8000BF][b]Nope, sure didn't. These were taken right out of the starting gate. The starting gate was positioned not too far from the finish line as they were running a mile & 7/16...I believe. So they had to run completely around the track plus a little more. So they came back around after these shots.[/b]
