Does anyone know what's going on here?

Wow, It looks like she has no mid torso at all.  My first reaction was to wonder about a photoshop job. 

Without extensive testing you can't rule out anything.   Some birth defects are caused by early genetic changes. Hopefully she won't be bred.  I doubt she could safely carry and give birth.  I wonder if she is even comfortable?

She is crazy looking. It would be interesting to get x-rays taken to see what skeletal structures are missing.

I posted this on HGS to their drawfism "expert" and they said that it happens in dogs, and likely is a form of dwarfism. The fact that it is in a full sized horse is quite astonishing as dwarfism is rare in large breeds. http://www.horsegroomingsupplies.com/ho… post #22
