I saw this mare advertised for sale and she is listed as 'DUN', do you think she is dun or if not what colour could she be. When I looked my first impression was a bucky going grey. I know I'm probably way off but am curious lol. Thanks, Kiri

She looks like a greying out Buckskin to me, but she could easily be another, similar, greying out colour- not Dun.

Gray regardless of base, which I don't presume to know.
Thanks guys, it'll be interesting to see if she has been tested for anything and if so what the results were.
I was informed that her tiger striping only shows up in Winter but have attached a pic of her dorsal stripe. I was only emailed this one pic...
That's classic gray with the fake gray dorsal.
That's kinda what I thought. I was surprised the owner hadn't had her tested for 'something'.
I sold a horse a couple of years ago that a friend had bred and was clearly going grey and when his new owners onsold him I saw her advertising him as a rare buckskin silver dun. I found this amusing considering she bought him as a grey lol.
She looks bay going grey, mine had the same counter shaded dorsal too :)
