I didn't notice it till I was going through pictures, but one of the miniature mares at the stables has a star/stripe/snip, but no other markings. The marking is not very significant, but thought I'd see what you guys think.

I think she looks like a suppressed "normal markings" sabino, very straight head marking that is top heavy so I would lean away from thinking splash, I don't think she has any pattern that could get loud enough to be considered pinto.

Gotcha, that all makes sense. I don't think that we'll be keeping the sabino stud colt we have (and are trying to sell), but we may breed her to the grulla we have next year. :)
