Chestnut?

Curly horse who gets pretty yellow in the summer and has a slight dorsal stripe! What do you think?

Which one?  The tobiano is chestnut.  The other one appears to be bay or dark chestnut however, I can't tell for sure what color it is.

Could you get more photos that show the eye color and skin?

Thank you for the different

Thank you for the different photo that does help.   In the new photos he looks dark chestnut.  Sometimes called liver chestnut.  You see the lighter band of hair just above the coronet?   That is one of the things to look for when trying to determine if a horse is chestnut or something else.  Most dark chestnuts will have this (rarely they don't).

The yellowish color you are seeing is due to fading.
