If I'm remembering correctly LP has been located or was close to being located. Any word on when the test will be out?

The last (published) word was that they still haven't found the causative mutation, but they are very sure they know what the gene is. So LP has been located in the sense that the gene is known, but without a mutation, a test can't be developed. But who knows...they may have found something by now.

They seem to have been "very close" to a breakthrough for about five years.....is this really any different???
