Not so Golden ("golden") Zebras

I was looking at the original golden zebras, which are similar to ivory dilution in donkeys, and found a different type of zebra coloration being labeled as golden. It says on their website the father/mother of the babies are not golden and have produced these golden zebras. Now, I already do not like calling them golden zebras, as I feel that should be exclusive to the dilute ones, so I would rather call them simply brown.
The most interesting thing is that these zebras have very heavy shadow stripes, but are born very light, even for a normal zebra baby.

For anyone that may not know what I mean by Golden (dilute) zebra, here is one

The dilute ones definitely have light skin and blue eyes. The other ones that are just really brown do not seem to have that, maybe when they are foals but not later.
