Due to decreasing use over the years, I have decided to disable the forum functionality of the site.

Forums will still be available to view but new posts are no longer allowed.

Is there a way?

To make that little yellow thing - what is that thing anyway? - only be yellow if there are NEW posts you haven't read since the last time you were in that forum? Rather than be constantly yellow because there are some posts months ago that you didn't keep up with or read every single reply? Or is that because we're moderators and should read every post?

Mark the whole forum or just the individual forums as read. I go through and read everything I want to read and then mark the whole board as read so it's cleared every time.
