Names in Italics?

Question - some poster's names on the forum come up in italics. What does it mean?

I think that means that they have registered but haven't done the confirmation email yet. At least that's what it means on another forum...

Is there a handbook here? LOL ;0) Cool...I just had noticed when I saw that sometimes that a post from that person would show up....and dots under the name in italics as well I think...
