This DW looking too?

I could actually make a case for her being splash + sabino. However I do think it's perfectly plausible that she is too.

Good thinking googling sabino as that's what most DW is still called at this point.

some odd looking markings come up that way...lol

some other neat ones I've found the last few minutes

If those are the horses I think they are (I'll have to go look), they're proven DW through an American source.

TheRedHayflinger Mon, 07/05/2010 - 05:26

I didn't catch names on all of them, but did remember one was High Rail Roll The Dice and High Rail Scattered Diamonds...and WAT Sword. I do think all had names listed beside them on the pages though

accphotography Mon, 07/05/2010 - 13:12

YES!! That IS the line! High Rail Roll the Dice is by High Rail Colourful Gambler who was a "max sabino" TB from a known line of DW, but I can't find his actual registered name right now for some reason (and it's really irritating me).

accphotography Wed, 07/07/2010 - 20:28

Oh he's a handsome thing! His white reminds me tremendously of whatever it is we see in Clydes and some Shires. I've been suspecting that to be DW, so I'd guess yes, but somehow he looks a bit different to me.

TheRedHayflinger Wed, 07/07/2010 - 20:35

he is a Groningen. I haven't seen any others really marked like that but I'm still looking..

TheRedHayflinger Sun, 07/11/2010 - 14:56

a few more?
all these are Argentine Criollo's

and this one...At first i was thinking splash, but something about him wants me to say DW too...it's this type of pattern that confuses me the most I think

The first to definitely. I WANT WANT WANT the first one!! She is PERFECTION!!

As for the last, I agree, but I really think that's splash. The face white is too bottom heavy, especially not to trace up under the jaw like the first horse.

accphotography Sun, 07/11/2010 - 15:12

The first one is STRANGE. Definitely splash, but something else going on too I'd bet.

The third one has the white under the jaw and the belly spot. Reminds me alot of TCF Nightlight's markings.

I could go with splash/sabino only on the last one. I've seen this marking set in TBs a few times and have never decided if I believe it's really splash or something else.

TheRedHayflinger Sun, 07/11/2010 - 21:04

I almost thought he was a funky fleabitten grey with some pinto markings and had to hunt down both his parents--both non grey...LOL

TheRedHayflinger Fri, 08/13/2010 - 12:01

don't think I posted this one yet...as I don't recall seeing her before...sorry if I have
