Dunskin Section A Welsh Filly

I'm having some health issues and I've made the decision to sell my mares. My cob mare has just sold, so now I'm focusing on this filly. The Promise Party Girl Section A Welsh Filly 5/09 model Scarsborough Tigger x Walgarth Ismerelda 11.2 at 1.5 years old UC Davis tested: EeAaCrcrDd $2500 or Make Offer This filly is an awesome girl. She is a flat mover and really covers ground when she wants to. Nice floating canter and free walker. She's unflappable and nothing worries her. Smart, smart, smart! She's got that spark in her that makes you watch to see what she'll do next. She'd rather be with a person then the other ponies and she'll stand in the pasture for hours and let you groom her. No kick, bite, or any meaness about her. She's got the perfect personality for a pony and will be a great kids' mount. She's my walking partner right now and is used to cars, dogs, peacocks, deer. She saw goats for the first time and she just gave one of those "wtf" looks and walked up to sniff noses with the buck. LOL. She's just a crack up and it kills me to sell her. Right now she's a hairy yak and is allowed to roll in mud to her heart's content. So I haven't taken any winter pictures. These are the most recent I have plus I threw in a couple baby pictures. She was 1.3 years old. This is for size comparison. She's going to be tall I think. The cob on the left is 13.2 hands, Party, Fortune the chestnut is 12.2 [img]http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m26/gsagain/party/partytrotalongback…] [img]http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m26/gsagain/party/izzyandparty1of1.j…]

Well I've seen looking for a typey buckskin welsh A mare or filly, but sorry I don't think I can afford one from the other side of the world ;)

The dun is interesting.. I didn't think welshies had dun? I thought the 'dun's were buckys? It's not like she looks very dun. Sorry, I obviously missed the chat on her!!

Dun in Welsh is carried in two lines I think. One for sure is her mom Walgarth Ismerelda who does show all the markings better then Party. But Party's dorsal and leg bars are there, just light. I had my doubts as well so we had her tested by UC Davis. Looks like she'll be like her mom when she grows up. More muted.
It looks like I'll be keeping her. I'm getting help in taking care of them for the time being. BUt still up in the air...
