Okay so I have a Breeding stock(solid) bay paint mare called Daisy, in her lifetime she has been bred with a chestnut overo and a buckskin QH. All foals but one have come out solid bay or black with almost matching markings to Daisy's and one was a beautiful solid golden palomino not to mention she has produced only fillies. She has had a total of 6 foals. But anyways her last foal was out of the same Buckskin stallion that she produced the palomino with and the foal came out a solid bay filly like the rest but my question is could she(the filly) still carry the creme gene from her sire even though she is a bay?
No, if she had cream she
No, if she had cream she would be Buckskin.
