Compromise

So. I listen to classical type music mostly when I am doing housework, some of the celtic woman type stuff. My son? Top ten in his class btw, is pretty much a head-banger. Today we are doing housework together.....this band is his proposed in-between: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH78E_xstdI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Pretty interesting.....

Wow Heather!!!! Reminds me of my punk show I did on my midnight DJ'ing stint. I did a little death metal every now and then! lol

It must be something else to feel the music so strongly you'd risk breaking your neck like that! LOL Your son is actually quite nice looking the one or so times I actually caught a glimpse of his face!

The Edgar Cruz thing is way more up my alley now. I like Queen now more than I used to admit to.

PS - when I put on that video, my son came right up behind me to watch. He gave it 2 thumbs up.

He is such a cutie pie, you'd laugh if you see the video of him at 14 , still in his baseball stage lol

See my neighbor was the singer for "Death" the orgional band(80s), he passed away recently, I grew up in the roots of it, but I never cared for it much myself I was more of a zepplin/Doors kinda teen..but somehow my son got in the mix of it and was in this band when it got signed and toured, but now he is doing soemthing on his own and hopfully will be more creative like a "tool" or "Perfect Circle" ...its all top secret right now and he dosent let anyone hear it, but he had top programs in an apple and drum tracks ect..I hope it turns out good for him, but he still doe classical too, thank goodness! lol I think it keeps his skills tuned.

I love Apocalyptica! One of best friends had a CD of theirs years ago and I she used to use it as her alarm in the morning. We would both wake up rocking out.

Wow! I have been a Metallica fan since the early 80's, though I have only seen them in concert a handful of times. Most memorable were Oakland's Day On The Green (largest concert venue I've ever attended), San Francisco's Cow Palace and Sacramento's Arco Arena. At Arco, the seats were rocking/shaking in time to the music.
My fave (besides the early work and Garage Days) is S&M. Symphony & Metallica.

I will *definitely* be looking for some Apocalyptica.
