Can't be...a horse that is Lp only still exhibits characteristics. It's just that the characteristics can be so minimal or in places not expected to be examined, and thus ignored by humans.

Well not LP, no, but PATN essentially is that way it seems. At least if you buy the theory that LP and whatever causes PATN are separate.

I spoe to my friend that is helpin the folks sell their shining spark grand-offspring and she is going back over there soon... she promised to take me with her, she just had a new foal herself so she is pretty consumed with baby love right now, but soon ... sorry for such a long build up but I promise I wont let up on it till I get some pics it might just take a little longer to get over there then I thought at first. I will be sure to get pedigree too.

I got out and got pics of 3 of the siblings of the "spotted" horse in question...I will ad them tomorrow , only thing on 2 of them that I saw that might make you go humm is they both had scalera and one of the 3 had "light roaning" that made me only wonder since I knew of the other that is suppose to be spotted... I will get to see the spotted one and his mother soon , but I will ad pics of the siblings here tomorrow, they are all 3 buckskin too BTW
