I kinda think he looks like he could be a Paso Fino. for me: his body-shape suggests it, his sickle-hocks, and the fact that he is still a stallion. Many people who have Pasos will not geld, because they live "the dream" that they may have [i]The Next Great Fino Horse[/i] and will make a fortune with breeding him.
I hope he finds a great home.

Ha! Funny that you should comment on that! ...at the other site, someone there did the "Ooooh! Seems a shame to geld such unusual markings!" and the man who is associated with this particular rescue (he does training and training challenges to help the rehabitable horses find better homes) said this rescue will never re-home a stallion, [i]and especially an un-papered stallion[/i], for breeding purposes only to make even more homeless/unwanted horses for them to have to deal with.

What are the circumstances of his rescue? He looks neat (did you see his NECK - wow talk about giraffe markings, then stripped withers - neat)
