the cute ugly pony.

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v448/pacata42/twincreeks/lebo/DSCF006…] When I see this pony, I immediately think holy crap what is it? But she's just so cute, I love her to death. :love I'd love to hear what some will say about her, I will reserve what I see for myself. Be as harsh as you'd like, not kidding! I am so afraid that this girl will jump a fence to get to Cisco, and me having to walk out in 11 months to find Ugzilla. Atleast it'll be the sweetest thing..

Yeah, I guess she does look good in that picture. But she is long-backed, short legged, sickle hocked/camped out, and big headed!

The head was the first thing I noticed, and I guess it's a fault, but I honestly think it's cute. Her neck is a bit thick at the connection (north to south) and thus ties in low. Her back isn't necessarily long, but her loin definitely is. Her croup is a bit short and a touch steep. She's a bit sickle hocked, but I can't tell the degree of it in this photo. She's really not a total train wreck and I bet her babies would look better than her... but no I wouldn't intentionally breed her.

That picture was the one posted on her dreamhorse ad, from which I bought her.

Here are some sickle hocks

Heres her big head

Here are her short legs

And this is how she stands... all the time. Not just because she's strattling a puddle! ;) (Do you also notice her toed-in-ness?)

I love her big head too! Very huggable.

They took that first photo looking down on her so it accentuated her common head and shorter legs. Your photos are better. :)

Is she easy to ride? If she'll pack a kid, as Maigray has pointed out in other threads, she's golden. And she's "white"! Everyone loves a white pony!

But yeah, keep her away from Cisco. ;) We had a black pony in to try for a month and everyone thought she was sooooo cute. She was solid black and hairy (thus the oohing and aahing from my students and parents) but she stood like a little duck and I was afraid the whole time she was here that Cory would somehow get to her and make a little duck baby.

She's so-so to ride, very fun, and getting progressively easier. She has the quick pony strides, but it is easy to bring her back and keep her there. She's so much fun, loves jumping, she would pack a kid around a Jumper course for sure!

She was cheap, sweet, and I saw some packer-pony potential. Which is why she's in my barn! :D And even though I love her to death, I'm not keen on a Lebo x Cisco running around.. as long as I don't catch her trying to be bred through the fence again, we'll be all good. The outcome would be a camped out dinosaur with a big head and little legs.

Nope, just ginormous (where the dinosaur quote comes in! the rest of the attributes would be from her). ;) He's the buckskin WB stud colt that I have coming along. http://forum.equine-color.info/viewtopi…" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; <-- most recent shots of him
I'll be getting a good confo shot of him sometime soon here.. probably on his 2nd birthday when the woolies are all the way out and the scenery is green! And I will let it be openly judged.
