A good one that - I can't remember if Morgan pointed these out to me, or what, but I collected them and threw them together.

This is my horse lol , you wanna see what his feet look like now? He never imporved in shoes, i pulled them and do him every 2 weeks now approx, the only way to keep him from tripping and he just has the conformation that makes him grow toe ...period.

I have a second set of ditigal photos of him to but Im not sure if I can get them on the computer, he was still in a "process" at this point of his recovery and he did sink a little from the first x-rays that are super imposted over this hoof pic, about a cm, however soon after that I gave shoes one more shot and it was not doing SQUAT for him, so out the window shoes went... he was lame, but not bad for 6 mo when I pulled them and soince we have moved to harder earth he has improved 90% and can ride on hard road barefoot, I wont say he take an ouchy step on a rock now and then but even the best will on a rock IMO... His feet do look different now from then, i will get show shots , he is due for me to trim him so I will take out camera for it. I also venture to say that if I had digital done on him ( for a 3rd time LOL) he would not be sunk that cm anymore, he has a concave effct to his sole now that he never had before, he was flatttt.

That's RIGHT!!!!!

This is some of the best demo I've ever found!!! As far as all the lines and definitions of how it should be.... Ya updates would be great!!!

You just take off toe every 2 weeks?

I'm finding I have to do the same with my Thoroughbred, Teddy. He just grows toe and flare and I have to trim him every two to three weeks. Now that I'm doing my own horses I can see why so many people who use outside farriers have trouble with feet. Some horses just need to be done insanely frequently and simply won't conform to that every six weeks schedule. I also find that I have to trim way more often during certain seasons.

Exactly. People think I'm ridiculous for having Lace trimmed every 3 weeks, but that's when she NEEDS it. In the summer she really needs it every 2 and in winter she can go 5.
