the horse right bellow skipper is remarkably similar in build and color to my black and white mare when she was little. good horse.

Huh. I scrolled through all of the photos and at the bottom, Chico's Main Feature appears to have been bought by HorseCity to be the contest give-away horse...
I've never participated in that, or followed it along.

He is right down the road from me. Come grab a cup of coffee when you bring your mare to see him. :mrgreen: I have always liked that stud. :oops: But of the paint patterns that I like, Tobi is my least favorite. And on my mare, I would 'risk' mainly tobi. :?
I love splash and frame and am still trying to figure out how to cook wild sabino. I saw that too. No idea what that is about? Horsecity buys a horse to give it away? And that's a good thing? :o

Splash base with Tobiano....he is not "A" Tobiano!!!
I have seen patterns like this in "proper" Shetlands (ie not American)

Are you referring to Skipper or SummersChicoBandito? :? I know the latter is more than tobi. But if I remember correctly, he is hmz for tobi?

By "homozygous" - on the top guy - are they talking about black or tobi?
