Re: Hello from Meadow View Farm!
Hi Monique
It's good to say hi directly to you. I used to lurk on the old forum for ages but had problems joining.
I've visited your site so many times as I'm a big fan of silver dilutes and have admired your silvers often. My colt is a silver palomino part saddlebred that carries one copy of the silver gene, so it will be hit and miss for silver black based horses but I believe with the right mares, no matter the colour his foals will be lovely as he's a nice type with great nature. Silver will just be a bonus :D He's only a youngster so that's awhile away. I have four other horses, one being a well coloured silver bay waler/arab mare.
Enough of my rambling hehe, I look forward to your contribution with hopefully lots of pics of your beauties.
Cheers
Simone
Re: Hello from Meadow View Farm!
Thanks everyone!
I hope things settle for me here soon so I will be able to post more and do a better job of updating the SilverEquine.com site. The last few years have been good but quite hectic.
I just have one foal due in May by Guthrie. I am trying to slow down a bit on my personal breeding in hopes of getting some of his foals that I have kept to the show ring and hopefully Guthrie too. I am definitely inspired at how well GridIron has been doing at he shows. His owner is awesome! :) I am really excited that her Pinto Reserve World Champion Driving Pony will be bred to him tomorrow. I really hope she gets a pinto silver sport pony that she can show and drive along with GridIron.
I am so really glad you guys have enjoyed our silver on our website. This year is sure to be exciting with Guthrie's first foals becoming yearlings! I can't wait for them to shed out so I can start taking photos again.
