can't do a rainbow-coloured "my little pony" type thing? (says the gal who has no idea on how to do any of this stuff!!!)

:laugh1 I'm pretty conservative and it didn't even occur to me. I think its a great idea unfortunately...

This is the striped pony in NZ's sig. As you can see (or not) it just doesn't work.

I'll play with the favicon thing tomarrow. Think I'll go to bed now pretty tired.

I think it would have to fill almost the whole 16x16 and probably be only silhouette style or it would be too hard to make out. I'll think about it.

I added one of the favicons that ACC did. I looks pretty good I think.

ACC,

Thank you btw!

Just wanted to let you know, I was just reading over at http://www.w3.org/2005/10/howto-favicon" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and they say a favicon can be 32x32 but it may do an auto shrink to fit the spot.

Now I want to know how to add one to the address bar....

Oh yay!!! I think having site/forum is always a great thing to do!

Surprisingly, I think the plain black and white one I did looks pretty good up there! The reason I decided 16x16 was I checked all of the ones that are currently on my bookmarks bar (Blood-Horse, HGS, Youtube, etc.) and they were all 16x16 so I bet it would have shrunk it (making it barely legible I bet).
