Chestnut or gray colt?

1 day old

2 days old
All "washy" legs, under belly, muzzle etc

3 weeks

About 6 weeks, dark when shedding

Not a single "stray" white hair atm, around 8 weeks old.

Sire is dark liver chestnut, dam is grey born chestnut.

Will he stay chestnut (perhaps liver chestnut) or go grey? I just can't decide, he is a little in between - not as dark as the ones that you can tell for sure from the moment of birth that they will turn grey, but not as light/washy/pink-skinned as the ones you for sure can tell won't turn grey...

I'm gong to go with stay chestnut.  I don't see any of the normal indicators for going gray.

Looks chestnut to me.  Many times the foal shed is the darkest, so dont think he will necessarily be liver as an adult.

I think I can breathe now, that he WILL stay chestnut?
Recently taken pic. Not a single white hair were it shouldn't be so far.
