What are the patterns on these two?

Here's a link to a blog post with pictures of this mare and foal. There's also a video of them here if you like.

I'm mainly wondering about the dam's white pattern(s), I'm pretty sure she's a tobi with possible splash but wanted to check by you guys. :) And to me the foal just looks like a plain tobiano, but I very well could be missing something.

Thanks in advance!

I agree, I think the mare is Tobiano and Splash and the foal is just tobiano.  However, the foal may have splash as well given the rather unusual large white "blanket" for lack of a better word.

Hmm, gotcha. So, instead of as with a normal splash where the majority of the white on the torso starts at the belly, due to tobiano it can swap the splash pattern around to give the horse more white on top (the "blanket")?

Ah gotcha. I guess I didn't even realize that that much white on the top torso of a tobiano is odd; I should be paying more attention lol.

Anyway, thanks for the help! :)

The mare definitely has Splash, I tend to think the foal has too but because of the legs not anything else,  I think there is also Sabino there too, judging by the foals pattern.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think the foal has sabino? Do you think the dam has it as well? I'm pretty certain that the stud was either a solid bay or seal bay.
