Splash Testing

Since UC Davis now has moms APHA studs DNA on file I'm requesting for a splash test. Somehow I feel he will be negative, but I'm still curious anyway. He is Ee A_ Tt Oo and also has very sabino roany foals, though not sb1, and most of them have either large snips or face white like himself.
He was absolutely filthy so I didn't take any body shots, but in these head shots you can see all the color he has on him, the rest of him is white.

I wouldn't be surprised if he would also qualify for a KIT mutation - along with splash... please keep us posted!

He shows a lot of white for a bay horse - but what is A_? Another form of Aa?

 

Edited to add that I meant KIT, not DW - shouldn't post late at night...LOL ;)

No I mean I know he has at least one A because he is bay but not sure if he is Aa or AA or AAt or any other variant because hes only ever had bay and chestnut foals, and not enough to show that he is AA or Aa.

And I'm pretty sure you mean A- and so on, at least that's how Sponenberg wrote nomenclature for horses where you can tell one allele but the second one may be either/or.

Waiting to get paid tomorrow to request the test! A lot of his foals have bottom heavy face white or only snips.
On an unrelated topic I mentioned to ACC that all of his black based foals are tobiano +, but all of his red ones are lwo or are not loud in pattern, but the most interesting thing was that all his red based males are extremely minimal while his red based females are much louder in pattern, which is opposite of how it's generally supposed to be.

N/N for all the current splash mutations. I think if he had one of the current ones he might be almost pure white, since he does have tobiano and frame and throws some very roany sabino foals.
