Hey Guys! Stopping in to say hi and show you a more updated pic of Scout. He is 2yr. now!

Hi All, Just popping in to say hello and see how everyone has been doing??? I keep up with some of you on FB but miss being on the color board too. Scout just turned 2! He is about 15h now. Adding a couple of photos to show you SCOUT THEN and SCOUT NOW! (Well that pic was about 6 months ago) He looks the same but his mane/tail are a little longer and fuller now. He is NOT gaiting at all like his Walkaloosa mommy Dixie. Still don't know if his sire was a THW ( I doubt that since he doesn't gait), an Appaloosa? A TB or QH maybe? Any guesses? He still hasn't shown any sign of a color change. Stil a really dark bay and I love that. He does have some darker appy signs on the skin around his nose and the skin around his butt. He has the striped hooves. Hope to catch up with all of you soon!!! Hugs, Steffie

Just another pic that shows his color/spots up close. He looks so stocky in this pic. Was at about 1 1/2 years old. Not the best pic.

Glad you see you again! I wouldn't give up on your boy gaiting until you get him undersaddle. Many gaited horses, especially those who do a more diagonal gait like a fox-trot, will only trot while at liberty.
