Angel has tested positive for the Frame (LWO), as well as the Sabino (SB1) overo genes, and negative for the tobiano, and silver genes.

Doesn't this make her a chestnut carrying silver rather than a silver bay?

But, it is also widely believed that there may be several Sabino mutations that cannot yet be tested for.

Wow, even more blue eyed negative for splash and LWO horses! I really hope UC Davis puts their samples aside for further testing. I still have yet to see a non-mini horse with pinto blue eyes pop up yet. Emphasis on the yet, but looking at them really makes me think minis have another splash mutation in their gene-pool.
