That third boy, is that the pearl? Shame dogs from the US have to be at least 9 mos old before they can be imported here.

Yes that is pearl, it is also called Lilac, it's kind of a pinkish pale tan.

Put him in one of those poster tube shipping things. CAn put enough cotton balls at one end to absorb everything and enough food at the other end to feed him! LOL

Awww! Rat terriers are just about the only small dog that I would consider owning. I haven't met a single one that I don't like or that has a small dog attitude (read: ankle biter land shark), which says a lot since I have met many of them and most often in the worst situation (nothing like sticking an dog with needles to bring out the inner land shark).

LOL thanks MP, that's quite a compliment, but it's true they really don't have a small dog attitude, they have more of a hunting dog/want to please their master attitute. Most small dogs would rather please themselves than their master's lol.

Next morning and everbody is looking quite contented, my mom makes me those little rice bags, I warm them in the microwave and the puppies can snuggle with them. My mom then makes me one for each puppy to go to their new homes, they are a great crate training tool that they can snuggle with in their crates, we call them "warmy things".

Daww, they're adorable!
And LOL! My mom makes those rice things too! We use them for our sore shoulders haha! We both have the same permanent knot in our right shoulder, and those things work wonders.

Thank you everyone :flower , we had a scare with the girl puppy. I noticed yesterday afternoon that she was colicky and I saw her throw up, then I noticed she was'nt nursing, probably because her stomach hurt. Sometimes Mother's milk is not campatable with a certain puppy. So I ran out and got formula hoping that was all it was and nothing more serious. Sure enough after a few hours of being on formula she quit crying and was resting peacefully, and this morning she was all about that formula stuff, at first I had to just give her little bits with the nipple on a syringe, now she is suckling on her own. My friend who raises Rat Terriers and has been through this before also said I can try her on Penny's milk when she has her puppies, but my vet said just stick with the formula, so that's probably what I'll do. Oh boy I'm going to get attached to this one.
