Hello from Pacific Pintos in Northern California

Hi to everyone from rainy California! I am enjoying the forum. I joined last year, but never did much with the forum until this week. We raise miniature horses in Northern California and have 50 head of mostly pinto horses. We concentrate on blacks and bays, but have frames, tobianos, sabinos, splashed whites, and toveros. We have about a dozen foals a year which are shipped both nationally and internationally to new owners for breeding, showing, or just as companions. I LOVE learning about genetics and have enjoyed the forum this past week and look forward to learning about coat color genetics in the future from all of you. Thanks for providing a new way for me to learn. I am "Joanne" on the Lil Beginiings forum.

WELCOME to the forum!
Well you've sent some rain to Australia too. We've had some much rain lately in my State and quite a lot of towns flooded. The amount of towns that flooded across Queensland has never been seen before! They had to evactuate a lot of people from their homes and some of the towns are still flooded.
We are pushing 25 inches of rain since July. How are you doing??

Shasta is a beautiful area.
I don't know how many inches, but we have had alot of flooding as well, so much that our horses now prefer to take their drinks out of the new steam running through their pasture instead of their automatic waterer.
